I am Odysseus and my mother abandoned me when I was 1 month and a half, I was ill and very hungry. Today I am living with my temporary mother, but I cannot stay forever as mummy has already too many cats.

So, I need a new loving home with a new loving mummy and daddy. In 2 months, (December 2022) I will be healthy and ready for adoption with all my vaccinations done.

When I arrived nearly 3 weeks ago in a big cardboard box, too big for my size, I was terribly ill: I had ringworm all over my body and my face, my belly was extremely bloated because of internal parasites.

Mummy gave me a bath every 3 days with special medicine to fight the ringworm. I really don’t like it because my paws get wet, and I keep shaking them to dry them as quickly as possible. Mummy
does not want me to catch cold so she closes all the windows of the kitchen, puts me under a warm
towel, covers my head so that I can dry quickly.

I also must take a pill every morning, so mummy puts the big pill down my small throat, it is not always easy to swallow so I throw it out sometimes, but Mummy makes sure I do swallow it.
I have made new friends in my new temporary home especially with Hardy, a black and white 5-and-
a-half-month-old kitten and Pandora an all-white 4-month-old kitten.

I sometimes feel like I am a toy because I am too small to win the play fighting games.
Mummy has put one of my beds on the kitchen counter so I can be part of everyday life. I like it
because that is where I get my food and lots of cuddles.

I also have another bed in mummy’s bedroom so I can be close to her at night, but she does not like it when I get into her bed and wake her up a 4 o’clock in the morning to play so she puts me back into my bed and I feel sad.

Fortunately, I can sometimes count on Hardy…if he is not also sleeping. After every meal, I really miss breast-feeding, so I either go on a particular spot-on Mummy’s sofa blanket and start sucking or better still I ask Mummy to take me in her arms so I can suck her woolly jumper.

Because Mummy is so busy with 20 cats in the house and 15 in the garden, she was thinking of getting a kangaroo holder to carry me whilst she is doing other things. I think it is a great idea, I get to be high above all the other cats instead of always having cats looking down on me.

I am now very healthy and very happy, but Mummy says that she has too many cats so sadly I cannot stay and need to find another loving Mummy and Daddy,

Please take me!
